Poppy Patch is always in need of volunteers.  We couldn’t provide the level of care and quality of facilities without the hard work of our volunteers.  Please contact Raquel Restuccia at Raquel.Restuccia@ftb.ca.gov, by phone at 916-845-3063, or any of our teachers, directors or board memebers.

·  Cleaning (chairs, toys)
·  Help with curriculum preparation (sort, cut)
·  Label shelves
·  Make signs for interest areas (play, library, etc)
·  Organize cot room
·  Organize staff room & supply closet
·  Organize storage area
·  Repair/replace coat hooks
·  Volunteer (read, teach art project, play music)

·  Fix broken bikes/toys
·  Haul away trash items
·  Label cots & kitchen cabinets
·  Wash playground & chairs

·  Cleaning carpets
·  Cleaning (gates, sandbox, toys)
·  Lubricate chairs & gates
·  Organize utility closet & art room

How about spreading the cheer all year long by donating a toy to your child’s classroom?  In each center, we have a wish list posted for needed items for the children.  Please come by and visit.

 

When you donate a toy, item or service to Poppy Patch, you may be able to claim a deduction on your taxes. Poppy Patch Child Care Center is an IRC Section 501 (c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit corporation (FEIN #68-0081564).  Please consult your tax advisor for further information.
